University reserves the right to increase or decrease the seats from time to time as deemed fit Diploma Vet Sci. and Animal Health Tech Admission 2017 Eligibility Criteria The candidate should have passed 10+2 examination with at least 50% marks (40% for SC/ST and BC categories) in aggregate with Biology, Physics, Chemistry and English subjects from a Board recognized by the Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE) in India Candidate must be a resident of Punjab State / Union Territory of Chandigarh. He/she is required to furnish self-declaration (Annexure VII) and Residence Certificate (Annexure VIII) as per instructions/guidelines from Punjab Govt. regarding competent authority to issue Residence Certificate (Annexure D of this chapter) at the time of counselling Selection Procedure a) Admissions will be made strictly as per the merit list on the basis of marks obtained by the candidate in the Entrance Test b) In case of tie in marks obtained in Entrance Test, the candidates getting higher marks in Biology in Entrance Test shall be ranked higher in order of merit c) In case of tie in the marks obtained in the Biology in Entrance Test, the candidate getting higher marks in Chemistry shall be ranked higher in order of merit d) In case of tie in the marks obtained in the Chemistry in Entrance Test also, the candidate higher in age shall be ranked higher in order of merit e) All the seats will be filled by the Counselling Committee constituted by the University Entrance Test (a) There will be an Entrance Test for admission to Diploma in Veterinary Science & Animal Health Technology to be held at Ludhiana.
